Here in the north America, about 1/3 of the summer has passed. It is the time of the year when many visit relatives and friends or take a vacation and get some down time. It is also the time of the year when summer weather pushes everyone's Pitta higher. No matter what your Dosha, but particulary if you are Pitta, remember to hydrate. Eat all the bounties nature offers right now: Watermelons, fresh vegetables and fruits. Try to add Cilantro or Basil to you salads as they are cooling herbs/spices. This a great time for Kapha dominant folks to get outdoors and start an excercise regimen.
